What is ChatBot Pals?
ChatBot Pals builds a chat assistant, called a Pal, for your business website. It answers your customers' questions in English and Maltese, any time of day, using only what your website says.
How much does a ChatBot Pal cost?
€6.99 a month for each website, paid by card through Stripe. Setting it up is included, and you can cancel any time.
Does it speak Maltese?
Yes. Your Pal replies in the customer's language, English or Maltese. When a customer writes in Maltese, it answers in simple, correct Maltese.
Where do its answers come from?
Only from your own website and the answers you add yourself. It never guesses prices, opening hours or policies: if your website doesn't say, it tells the customer and points them to your phone or email.
Can it take bookings or orders?
No. A Pal answers questions; it can't book, take orders or send messages. When a customer wants to book, it points them to your booking page or your contact details.
How does the setup work?
You fill in a short form, we meet you to learn what your customers ask, and we build your Pal from your website. You see it before anything goes live, and once you subscribe we help you put it on your website.
Which websites does it work on?
Most of them: WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, GoDaddy, Framer and custom-built sites, among others. Your website needs to accept one line of code (some website builders allow this only on their paid plans). It can't go on Google Sites, or on a booking-only page such as Fresha or Treatwell.
What happens when I change my website?
Your Pal re-reads your website every week and updates the pages that changed, so new prices or opening hours reach it without you doing anything. You can also add your own answers at any time.
What does it look like on my website?
A friendly little character in the corner of your website, dressed for your trade, with its own name. Customers tap it to open the chat.
Can I see what my customers ask?
Yes. On your Pal's page at chatbotpals.com/my-pal you see the questions from the last 90 days and what your Pal answered, add your own answers, pause your Pal and download a report. A short report also comes by email each month.
How do I cancel?
Any time, from your private link or your Pal's page, with no account or password. Your Pal stays on until the end of the month you've paid for, and there are no more payments.
What happens to the chats?
Chats are kept for 90 days after their last message, so answers can be checked and improved, then deleted. Card payments go through Stripe: card details never touch our website.
